Well everybody I am back to blogging; since nobody reads my posts it doesn't really matter. It has been over a year since my last post and just want to rant for a little bit. The day is July 15, 2013 and what is in the news lately; The Stanley Cup champions in the 2013 strike year are the Chicago Blackhawks; The Prime Minister in Canada is still Stephan Harper; The American president is Barrack Obama; we have more riots going on in Egypt and probably more to come around the world; Anderson Silva lost the middleweight championship but got a $20 million sponsorship from Nike so don't cry for him Brazil; Some nsa whistleblower named Edward Snowden is still in the news and looking for love in all the wrong places; Local Boys is still going strong and delivering beer, wine and liquor in the cobourg area and of course can be reacehd at 905-375-6154, I would just like to add that i have ordered local boys shirts and hope they look good; oh yeah in more local news our mayor of Toronto recently was in the news and allegedly has a crack cocaine addiction where supposedly one of his crack dealers took a video of him smoking the rock and wanted to sell it but mysteriously dissapeared before he could do anything. I don't know what else to say really other than it is the summer here in Canada and getting very warm. I have not posted anything lately and since nobody reads my blogs it doesn't really matter does it? I had a great year in 2011 and feel that 2012 is going to be another good time for sure. My mind is healthy and my body is healthy, so that means that I am healthy which is a good sign for me. I enjoy what I am doing and love talking to people and helping them and vice versa I listen to people and respect their opinions. The economy is very weak here in Canada and looks like a depression is instore for most of us around the world.

I have opened up an alcohol delivery company called Local Boys Delivery. I delivery beer, wine and liquor and charge $6 delivery charge. Also delivering pop, cigarettes, snack foods, fast foods, pet foods, and much more.

Online Advertising Sales

Today I started a new job, selling online advertising to businesses in my area. I have never done this before and have really no idea how to start, so I just went to about 10 businesses and pitched the site. I went to about 10 businesses, which is not a lot but with no clue how to sell it got rejected by 9 of them and possibly could get a sale out of one of them. I would like to know if anybody can help me and give me tips on how to sell online advertising to businesses. A little about the website that I am working for, it is called Canadian Networker and it is an online business directory for local businesses in Ontario Canada. How should I pitch this to businesses, well i am gonna do research for a day and create a plan when I go out and talk to more businesses in the next couple of days, any advice would be helpful.

Fake Sterling Silver Jewelry

Recently I purchased some jewelry and it was stamped 925, which normally means that it is sterling silver, and you might already know I am a collector of silver. The jewelry was very heavy and even though I don't have a good knowledge yet of the industry I felt that at the time the price was right so I bought some of it. I take it to a local dealer that i know and he ends up buying it, with the knowledge that it is sterling silver jewelry. One week later he informs me that the jewelry is counterfeit sterling silver, I was shocked because I purchased over $100 of it. I then do some research and find out that there is a lot of fake sterling silver jewelry going around, and even though it is stamped 925 it doesn't mean that it is real sterling silver. There are a few tests that you can do to prevent yourself from falling for the same scam that I fell for, the first is not to buy silver from China, especially if the price is well under the spot price of silver. The second test is the acid test, you have to buy a silver test kit. Please do not buy jewelry if you feel that the price is too low because chances are that it is not real.

Stock Market

I am sure that there are a lot of investors on the internet so I have decided to share some of my thoughts on the stock market. I invested 2 years ago in the stock market and I got hammered on the fees to buy and sell my stocks, I ended up losing my job halfway through the year and decided that I would just get killed with fees so I got out while I still had some money left. The stock market is like the casino, the house always wins, no matter if you do or not. My knowledge of the stock market gained over the months that i was investing and held some mining and oil stocks before retiring from the stock market to pursue the silver market, which has been doing very well lately. Bottom line is that there is no such thing as easy money, if you think that you are gonna invest in the stock market and win big, you are in for a surprise. If it is too good to be true chances are that it is.

What is going on with Silver?

Is anybody seeing what is going on with Silver? It is up over $26 an ounce as of Friday and boy am I glad that I have invested in Silver over the past 2 years. I got into it around $13 an ounce and on most of my investments I have doubled, but is it bound for more. Experts believe Silver to be over the $50 an ounce range in the near future and with the fear of inflation more and more people are going towards gold and silver as a hedge against inflation. Another big reason why Silver is going up is the industrial demand that this commodity has. It is used in hospitals, clothing, and even computers and cell phones. If you have not jumped on the Silver bandwagon I would suggest that you jump on.
